A fun way to help out – and get more people involved in fighting hunger – is to sponsor a food drive during celebrations (birthdays, weddings, family reunions) or any time of year in your neighborhood or workplace. This is a great, easy way to contribute to the food bank! The generous folks at West Seattle Thriftway will donate 1% of your receipt.   Mail or drop off your receipts within 6 months of use and we’ll do the rest!


Support WSFB when you shop!  Simply go to Bartell Drugs, ask to sign up for a “B” Caring Card and designate West Seattle Food Bank as your nonprofit of choice. Present your card every time you shop and up to 4% of your purchases are donated to us!

Help the West Seattle Food Bank earn donations just by shopping with your Fred Meyer Rewards Card!  Sign up for the Community Rewards program by linking your Fred Meyer Rewards Card to the West Seattle Food Bank at  Search for us by West Seattle Food Bank or our non-profit number, 90014.  Then, every time you shop you are helping your neighbors in need.  You will still earn your Rewards Points, Fuel Points and Rebates.  If you don’t have a Fred Meyer Rewards Card, they are available at Customer Service.


What do Boeing, Microsoft, Starbucks, Nordstrom and Costco have in common?   These companies and many, many more will match your donations or volunteer hours to the West Seattle Food Bank.  They might even match your spouses and/or retirees within the past year.  You can double or sometimes triple your donation by checking with your employer to see if they have a Matching Gift Program.  If they do, any time you donate or volunteer, notify your employer (either by you filling out a form or by sending a form to us to fill out) and they will match your gift or hours.
