Community Service Partners


The West Seattle Food Bank works closely with the following organizations to make needed services available to our neighbors in West Seattle:

Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association
The Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association (DNDA) is a private non profit based in the community of Delridge in West Seattle. The purpose of DNDA is to engage residents, businesses and institutions in creating a thriving Delridge. The West Seattle Food Bank joined forces with DNDA to develop funds to build our new location, the West Seattle Community Resource Center.

West Seattle Helpline
The Helpline is a a non-profit social service agency providing assistance for West Seattle residents in need.

West Seattle's hub for community connections!

Family Services of Seattle and King County
Family Services builds emotionally healthy, self-sufficient families and a non-violent community in which they can thrive.

White Center Food Bank
The mission of the White Center Food Bank is to minimize hunger, while nourishing community, nurturing self-reliance and embracing our rich cultural diversity.

Food Lifeline
Food Lifeline is a not-for-profit distributor to neighborhood food banks and
emergency meal programs in western Washington.

Northwest Harvest
Northwest Harvest collects and distributes food to approximately 280 hunger programs in Washington State without tax dollars or fees of any kind.

Community Resources Online
A service of the Crisis Clinic, Community Resources Online connects you with up-to-date details on thousands of services in Seattle and King County.

Public Health Services
Information on HIV/AIDS, Immunizations, child and family health, family planning, maternity, WIC and a host of other health issues.

West Seattle Neighborhood Service Center
A good resource for neighborhood services and events.

Seattle Community Network
The keeper of an index of social service organizations in the Seattle area.

West Seattle Chamber of Commerce
The West Seattle Chamber of Commerce strives to promote the quality of life and the civic and business welfare of the community known as West Seattle.

Fremont Public Association
The Fremont Public Association has changed it's name to Solid Ground. They work to achieve a just and caring community free from poverty, prejudice and neglect.

West Seattle Herald
Our local newspaper.

City of Seattle Emergency Food Programs
The Human Services Department funds 16 of 29 area food banks and other emergency feeding programs for people who are homeless or low-income.

three projects | one community campaign
The West Seattle Food Bank joined forces with Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association to develop funds to build three very exciting projects in West Seattle: The West Seattle Community Resource Center, the Historic Cooper Cultural Arts Center, and Croft Place Townhomes.
