Instruments of Change a Huge Success!

The Board of Directors and Staff of the West Seattle Food Bank would like to graciously thank our sponsors, donors, guests and our dedicated and hardworking volunteers for making our 8th Annual Instruments of Change Dinner/Auction such a huge success, raising over $122,000.

Over 200 guests joined us on Friday evening, May 1st at our new location at The Seattle Design Center.   This extremely fun event featured a hosted Happy Hour where guests enjoyed tossing a ring in the Wine Toss, taking silly pictures in the Photo Booth, tasting some fabulous bourbon and bidding on unique Silent Auction items.

After sitting down for dinner, provided by Tuxedo and Tennis Shoes Catering and Events, guests participated in a very energetic live auction where guests bid on Southwest Airline tickets, trips to Bali, Sun Peaks, Cannon Beach, Date Nights downtown, a BBQ’d pig for 25 or a Flight Simulator.  After a film produced by Huskinson Productions, guests generously raised their paddles for those in the West Seattle community in need of a little help.  Then, of course, the evening ending with the delicious desserts from our Dessert Dash!
