“I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for this bag of food I get every week. It is so hard for me to get to the food bank. It is also a very treasured thing to be able to eat. If it weren’t for people like you, I wouldn’t have food the last two weeks of the month. God Bless each and every on of you!” Sincerely, Carol
West Seattle Food Bank delivers food weekly to the homes of the disabled, elderly and others not able to access food distribution at our facility through either our Home Delivery or Mobile Food Bank.
Bags of groceries are delivered directly to homes weekly on Wednesdays or Fridays by our incredible volunteer drivers.
We encourage clients to first try to arrange for a family member or neighbor to pick up their food for them from the food bank. Because our Home Delivery bags cannot be personalized, clients would have access to a larger amount of food with a better selection during our regular distribution hours.
Mobile Food Bank
The West Seattle Food Bank has recently begun a new program by setting up a food distribution weekly in locations that house a high concentration of our elderly or disabled clients. These clients are now able to access a larger amount of food and have many of the same nutritional choices that we provide at our facility, which hopefully will meet their many dietary restrictions.
If you live in a zip code we serve and are unable to come to the Food Bank because of a disability give us a call at 206-932-9023. Please note that at times there is a waiting list to receive home deliveries and a note from a doctor may be required before a delivery schedule is set up.
Zip codes served: 98106, 98116, 98126, 98136
